About
I work across the full product cycle — discovery, UX research, design systems, prototyping and animation — collaborating closely with developers, PMs and stakeholders. I care about interfaces that are intuitive and scalable, and about decisions I can defend with user behaviour and clear goals.
Backgrounds span wellness, fintech, edtech, IoT and AR, on iOS, Android, cross-platform and responsive web. I build design systems from scratch to keep products consistent and teams fast.

Five years, three teams, and the people who put up with my questions.
I had the pleasure of working with Yuliya Usan between 2021 and 2024, during which time she was a valued member of our team as a UI/UX designer. Toward the end of her time with us, she also contributed as a concept designer during the pre-sale phase to help attract new clients.
Yuliya made a strong impression from day one and consistently demonstrated responsibility, creativity, and growth mindset. She joined us as a junior specialist and, over the course of our collaboration, grew into a confident low-middle to middle-level designer. She handled full-cycle interface design — from UX artifacts like user flows, wireframes, and screen breakdowns, all the way to high-fidelity UI delivery. Her role also involved direct communication with clients and presenting design solutions.
Yuliya worked on multiple projects simultaneously (often 2–3 part-time) and did so with clarity and efficiency. She has excellent communication skills, a friendly and humorous attitude, and a collaborative spirit that makes her a great team player.
What stands out about her approach is her strong work speed, clarity in communication, and her proactive attitude. She’s always open to feedback, quick to clarify requirements, and focused on delivering value.
As for areas of potential growth — I believe Yuliya would benefit greatly from working on a large, long-term product where she could grow alongside the project. It would be an exciting opportunity for her and a natural next step in her career.
I would definitely recommend Yuliya for roles in startups or fast-paced environments where flexibility, initiative, and independent thinking are key. She has proven herself more than capable in such settings.
Wishing her continued success and growth — she truly has the potential to go far.
I really enjoyed working with Yulia.
She’s a strong product designer with great taste, solid product thinking, and a real sense of ownership. She’s easy to work with, reliable, and always open to feedback.
We have launched several products together and I’d happily work with Yulia again.
I had the opportunity to work with Yuliia for about three years — first as her mentor, and later as a colleague, more precisely, Yuliia worked as the second designer on a project team with me.
The first thing I noticed during our collaboration was that Yuliia is an exceptionally fast learner: she is constantly improving her skills, actively follows UI/UX trends, and implements new approaches in her work. Her tasks are always completed with high quality, on time, and in accordance with all requirements. She is equally effective when working independently or in a team setting.
Yuliia was responsible for designing both new and existing projects, communicating with clients and the team, and also demonstrated strong results as a pre-sale expert. Over this time, Yuliia grew from a junior designer to a solid middle UI/UX designer, according to the metrics of the company we worked at. At that point, the main area for growth identified was deepening her product thinking and gaining more experience with design systems.
I would also like to highlight her communication skills — Yuliia easily finds common ground with colleagues, knows how to constructively argue her point of view, and listens to others. Her “superpower” is deep research: she always finds the necessary information, even in complex or non-standard situations, which significantly strengthens the team’s work.
I sincerely recommend Yuliia as a reliable, proactive, and professional specialist.
